Watching, rain & heat

- Parades are usually held even in the rain
- Nebuta are covered with large plastic sheets in the rain
- Seats have no roof
- Umbrellas block the view behind — a raincoat is better
- Do not reserve spots days ahead or tape the road
- Nebuta run on the roadway — watch from the sidewalk

- It can be hot and humid even at night
- A power bank is handy
